Hey everyone, long time no journal! I've been relatively all right, a little stressed lately though because of my job. I'm not sure I really fit in at my workplace, and the feeling seems to be growing every day. I don't mind the work, but there's a lot of gossip and nitpicking always going on, and it's taking its toll. I'm trying to keep busy in my life other than work, but it's so hard sometimes when all you want to do is flop down and rest after the day is done.

Well what I am doing is quite a big project for me. I'm working on a manga! So far eleven pages are done and I might put them up on this site.

Anyways, it's entitled "Strange Bedfellows" and it's kind of a romantic comedy among other things. It takes place in 18th century France just before the French Revolution. Máurine D'Evereux is a courtesan who longs for more in life. Édouard Badeau is a writer who seeks more freedom. They seem incompatible, but what will these two achieve when a changing society expects certain things from them?

Gah I don't even know what I'm talking about But I do know that I'm going to draw a lot from my own life for this manga. I hope you will enjoy it when it comes out!
